Kathmandu - Not the top of the world but we can see it from here

Namaste

Patience is something I think the Nepalese must be very good at.  This isn't based on any profound observations on my part, more on lessons learned trying to use my laptop amidst power outages and internet speeds not seen since my last visit to my brothers place in rural Saskatchewan.  So no pictures today, maybe tomorrow.

We are here though and aside from any technical problems and some jetlag we are enjoying Kathmandu immensely. I have to say it isn't like anything we have experienced before, maybe close to our rovings in Egypt and something of Jakarta but Kathmandu stands apart in most ways.  Very alive, primal and linked to its past.  We have one more day to explore and then we are off to Baratpur.  We will try and get a couple of photos up before we do.
